Heute hat uns die frohe Nachricht erreicht, dass der Club Barbet Canada am 22. September 2010 vom Club Canin Canadien als offizieller Rasseklub akkreditiert wurde. Nachdem der Barbet erst seit dem 1. März 2006 in Kanada als Rasse anerkannt wird, ist das ein fantastischer Erfolg für die engagierten Züchter und Barbet-Liebhaber in Kanada. Die Zukunft des Barbet liegt nun in guten Händen und wir wünschen unseren kanadischen Freunden selbstverständlich weiterhin alles Gute und viel Erfolg.Hello to all the Barbetiers, Bonjour à tous les Barbetiers,
Heureuse nouvelle pour tous. Enfin, le Canada a maintenant son Club National de Barbet. Le 22 septembre 2010, le Club Canin Canadien a remis officiellement l’accréditation nationale au Club Barbet Canada.
Cette reconnaissance est d’une importance primordiale pour l’avenir du Barbet au Canada. Le Conseil d’administration et les membres sont fiers de l’action accomplie au cours des 2 dernières années. Les efforts fournis par tous ont porté fruits.
Soyez assurés que le Club Barbet Canada saura s’impliquer pour supporter ses membres, promouvoir la race et voir aux intérêts et au bien-être du Barbet au Canada. Le Club est doté d’éleveurs sérieux et professionnels ainsi que des propriétaires fiers de leur compagnon et qui participent à la mission du Club Barbet Canada.

At last Canada has a National Club for the Barbet. On September 2, 2010 the Canadian Kennel Club officially confirmed National accreditation for Club Barbet Canada. This document is of essential importance for the future of the Barbet in Canada.
The Board of Directors and the members have worked very hard over the last two years for this and have now seen the fruits of their labour.
Club Barbet Canada will continue to work hard for our members, and to promote the breed. All efforts will be in the best interest and for the well-being of the Barbet in Canada. The Club is endowed with serious and professional breeders who participate in the mission of the Club Barbet Canada.
